What most impacted his decision to become a DC was witnessing how his mom conquered severe, chronic migraines to become a top Ironman triathlete who competes across the globe — pain free. After completing a BS in psychology at Michigan State, he graduated cum laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he developed a passion for making care accessible to all. To maintain his wellness he runs marathons and coaches beach and indoor volleyball, kickball, softball and ultimate Frisbee leagues. An athlete all of his life, Dr. Thomas held 10 varsity letters in high school and earned a record in the decathlon. But at the young age of 18, he suffered a spinal fracture and was forced to turn down his chance to play college football. After his injury, he began to receive regular chiropractic adjustments and within two years, Dr. Thomas was able to join his university’s track team. He went on to become the captain of the team and established a new school record in the javelin throw. Chiropractic not only saved his spine, but gave him hope for an active future.
