Dr. Wassermann then attended the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. As part of Dr. Wassermann's clinical training he rotated through Edgewater Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. While working at Edgewater, Dr. Wassermann did morning patient rounds with the hospital's medical interns, observed orthopedic surgical procedures and treated patients in the hospital's geriatric outpatient clinic. Dr. Wassermann received his doctorate in chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in 1998. Dr. Wassermann then returned to Florida for a six month internship at Lighthouse Orthopedic Group in Boca Raton. During his internship, Dr. Wassermann assisted in patient care, reviewed MRI films, reviewed X-rays and observed orthopedic surgical procedures.
