Dr. Tyler Poland was born and raised in Davis, CA and is a graduate of Davis Senior High School. He was passionate about sports from an early age, playing both high school football and rugby. During this time Tyler regularly sought chiropractic care to treat sports related injuries and improve athletic performance, which ultimately led him to pursue a career as a chiropractor. Dr. Poland went on to study Exercise Physiology at California State University, Chico, where he played college rugby for five years and was the team captain for the 2013 league championship season. Through his studies and preparation for athletics, he gained a strong passion for health and physical fitness; a passion that he not only applies to his own lifestyle today but his approach to patient care as well. After graduating CSU Chico with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Dr. Poland began his career in chiropractic by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, West Campus in San Jose, CA. While at Palmer San Jose, Tyler was actively involved in student organizations and extracurricular groups on campus, acting as the president of the highly respected Palmer West Sports Council program. The Sports Council organization gave him the opportunity to treat numerous athletes, ranging from weekend warriors to division one college athletes. He acted as the representative for the organization throughout campus, events in the Bay Area, and at national chiropractic conferences. Dr. Poland now practices in Davis, CA and is committed to helping his hometown community. His past experiences have given him a strong focus on sports-related injuries and improving athletic performance.
