Dr. Rosenthal saw a need to educate the community about what Chiropractic and Sports Therapy had to offer. The Highland and surrounding Northwest Indiana community is very blue collar and this small community needed to be educated on proper health and wellness since the local businesses that patients worked for were not providing them with this type of informal education. Most patients want pain to be fixed, but Dr. Rosenthal fixes the condition so the pain is removed.

Dr. Thomas MacNeill-Zimmerman, D.C., serves as the chiropractic director of Chiro One Wellness Center of Hyde Park. Raised outside of Boston, Dr. Thomas headed to the Windy City to complete his doctorate of chiropractic; he now loves city life and his community on the north side of Chicago. An athlete all of his life, Dr. Thomas held 10 varsity letters in high school and earned a record in the decathlon. But at the young age of 18, he suffered a spinal fracture and was forced to turn down his chance to play college football. After his injury, he began to receive regular chiropractic adjustments and within two years, Dr. Thomas was able to join his university’s track team. He went on to become the captain of the team and established a new school record in the javelin throw. Chiropractic not only saved his spine, but gave him hope for an active future. Discipline, dedication and attitude are the keys to success in life, love and long-term health. Dr. Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree in sports biology from Springfield College and his doctorate of chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. In addition to his doctorate, Dr. Thomas is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), and is certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) and acupuncture. Passionate about the body’s ability to self-heal, Dr. Thomas strives to improve the lives of as many people possible through education and chiropractic treatments. Leading a purposeful life through helping others, Dr. Thomas strongly believes that discipline, dedication and attitude are the keys to success and uses this philosophy in his life and his practice in Hyde Park.

Every visitor to Dr. Dawson's clinic notices how much he loves seeing patients smile. He's determined to ensure each patient gets the exact care he or she needs and to motivate them all to become their own source of inspiration, and to seek chiropractic first, instead of as a last resort. During his Chicago childhood Dr. Sean was in and out of the hospital and constantly on rounds of medication due to severe stomach pain. At age 13 he was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and continued to try treatment after failed treatment through age 23. When he decided to pursue a career in holistic medicine, he didn’t realize how far reaching the benefits would be — chiropractic has allowed him to live a life without pain. Since he began paying attention to his spinal health and diet, Dr. Sean no longer experiences Crohn’s related flare-ups. After graduating with his BS in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University, Dr. Sean earned his master’s degree in acupuncture and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Science. During his time in chiropractic school, he was an active member of the Adjusting Club, Rehab Club, as well as the ACA and ABCA associations. To promote his own wellness he follows the same advice he gives patients: he exercises, plays golf, tries new clean eating recipes and spends time with family and friends. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a source of inspiration for Dr. Dawson, and he especially loves the quote, “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step,” which he applies to all area of his life.
