Dr. Derrick Lensgraf, D.C. is a chiropractic physician at Peak Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon. He is a 4th generation chiropractor specializing in McKenzie Mechanical diagnosis and treatment for functional healthcare. Dr. Derrick and the previous generations of his great grandfather, grandfather, and father all graduated from Palmer college of chiropractic. Dr. Lensgraf’s choice to become a chiropractor himself came from watching his father and grandfather help many people through their chiropractic practice. This left an impression on him. During his high school years, after considering other careers, he decided to become a chiropractic physician. He seized the opportunity to improve the lives of patients and join his family’s chiropractic practice. In 1952 the Lensgraf family started practicing in Louisiana and today still have a large multi-doctor practice located there helping patients with chiropractic care. However, over the last 10 years they have expanded into the Portland, Oregon area and this is where Dr. Derrick Lensgraf began his path as a chiropractic physician. After high school, he attended OSU and went on to study at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa and is now very happy to be back in Oregon making the area his home. Currently, he is focusing on continuing his education, learning techniques such as McKenzie, an internationally acclaimed method of assessment and treatment for spinal and extremity pain which is highly effective in treating patients. When he is not in the office or focusing on continuing education he enjoys tasting the diverse foods of Portland, reading, and learning digital art. With all the great views in Oregon, he also likes to spend time outside taking photos. Dr. Derrick Lensgraf is happy to be living and working in the Pacific Northwest. He is excited to meet the people of his community in the future and provide his chiropractic services. Improving the health of his patients is what he looks forward to every day he walks into the office.

Dr. DeJana

Pediatric

Dr. Megan DeJana, DC was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. She continues to claim that you can take the girl out of Montana but not the Montana out of the girl. Dr. Megan started her migration west to attend Boise State University. She studied and graduated with a bachelors of science in Human Kinesiology. Dr. Megan had the privilege of interning at the prestigious Idaho Sports Medicine Institute where she discovered that she did not want to pursue a career as an orthopedic surgen but that she had a love for manual medicine and caring for patients. Chiropractic found her during this time, and after a visit to the campus of Western States Chiropractic College (currently University of Western States) Dr. Megan had found her calling. Dr. Megan graduated Validictorian of her class in December, 2005. After the birth of her first child, she discovered a deep passion for caring for pre/post-natal mothers and pediatrics. She started her Diplomate program in Family Wellness through the ICPA, and she has enjoyed serving the Hillsboro community for the past eight years. Dr. Megan opened her practice, Active Wellness Chiropractic, in 2014 and looks forward to caring for the greater Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro communities. In her spare time, Dr. Megan enjoys spending time with her husband Adam and their three beautiful children. She is blessed to be called mom by Mia (5), Elyn (4) and Grey (infant). The Pacific Northwest is their playground and the family enjoys wakeboarding, skiing, and hiking together. Dr. Megan is an avid runner and enjoys running half marathons and hood to coast. The family lives a whole foods, Paleo lifestyle and believe that nutrition and exercise are essential to their Active Wellness.

Dr. Pollack

As a former professional football player with the Seattle Seahawks, Dr. Pollack DC is very familiar with back and joint pain. Searching for relief from his injuries he discovered chiropractic care. He quickly learned that chiropractic care was very effective and went beyond just treating aches and pains. A native of Lake Oswego, Dr. Pollack DC graduated with Honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration. Awarded the Scholar Athlete Award of Honor from the David K. Marks Foundation he continued his athletic career as a player with the Seattle Seahawks. While playing professionally he was required to undergo chiropractic care as a part of the training regime. The experience was life changing. He found pain relief and a feeling of overall well-being that helped him both on and off the field. He decided on a new career and immediately attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California once he retired from professional football. Dr. Pollack’s former experience with aches and pains as a daily part of life makes him a caring and compassionate healer. His desire to help those in pain motivates him to continually educate himself on the latest techniques and technology that not only benefits those in pain, but also those who understand chiropractic as a holistic care modality for prevention of back and neck pain, and as a health enhancer. His goal is to help you live pain-free with an active lifestyle using an individualized protocol of proven therapies.
