Dr. Stephen Wilks grew up near Lexington, KY and later moved to Dyersburg, TN. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Union University where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a double-major in Management/Marketing and Psychology. He enrolled at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO in May of 1997 and graduated with a B.S. degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in August 2000. Because of his love for sports, Dr. Wilks expanded his education and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, CCSP®, and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. He currently serves as the official team chiropractor for Union University Athletics and is a trainer at Crossfit Jackson. Dr. Wilks is also proud to have been the team chiropractor for the 2019 Southern League Champion Minor League baseball team, Jackson Generals (Arizona Diamondbacks - AA affiliate). He is married with three children and enjoys spending time with them and also exercising and playing golf. Dr. Wilks is active in his church and enjoys mentoring young people and other community-minded activities.
