A lifelong Santa Barbara County resident, James Neary attended local Santa Barbara schools, graduating from San Marcos High School. Only after attending UCSB with a major in physiology, did he decide to pursue a degree in Chiropractic. James Neary transferred to the Prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic West (PCC-W) in San Jose, California where he graduated in 1988. Dr. Neary continued a close tie to his alma mater by serving as Regional Alumni Coordinator for PCC-W. Dr. Neary continued his training becoming certified in Logan Basic Therapy and Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT). He also performed extensive post-graduate work in Pediatric Chiropractic. Dr. Neary has also obtained certifications as a Hypnotist, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer, and Time Line Therapy (TLT) Trainer. Dr. Neary is also an Independent Disability Evaluator, Qualified Medical Examiner, BackSafe Injury Prevention Consultant. As a member of the California Chiropractic Association (CCA), Dr. Neary served as both Treasurer and President of the Santa Barbara chapter. He also continues to instruct various continuing education courses for the CCA. Dr. Neary has also taught local classes on various topics. At the Kali Institute of Massage in Ventura, he taught a course on the Chiropractic View of the Body. Dr. Neary has also taught courses for Santa Barbara City College. His course topics included: Personal Ergonomics, Keeping the Nervous System Interference Free, Management of Chronic Pain, and Setting Goals for Health. Dr. Neary is highly respected in the community, performing frequent lectures at health and career fairs throughout Santa Barbara County. He also frequently teaches workshops and does consultations for local businesses and organizations. When Dr. Neary is not busy spreading the benefits of chiropractic, chiropractic care, and holistic wellness, he enjoys spending his free time with his family doing various activities such as mountain biking, traveling, pickleball, yoga, and playing practical jokes. Dr. Neary currently resides in Buellton, California with his three wonderful boys. Dr. Neary believes that being healthy embodies more than just feeling good. As a holistic practitioner and primary care provider, Dr. Neary evaluates the person as a whole when assessing and treating an ailment or disease, rather than focusing solely on a symptom or specific area of the body. Dr. Beau Pierce has been practicing in Santa Maria since his graduation from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2009. While in chiropractic college, he was an honors student, founded the school's first-ever triathlon team (competing at the Division 1 level), completed an Ironman event, and was named the president of the school campus guides. He was heavily involved with and served on the school's sports medicine team, traveling to many collegiate and professional sporting events. In practice, Dr. Beau specializes in using the latest tools and techniques to ensure your body is functioning at the highest level. He has been trained in the following chiropractic techniques: Palmer Package, Extremity Adjusting, Drop Table, SOT Technique, ProAdjustor, ArthroStim. He also offers the following physical therapy treatments: Cupping, Manual Muscle Release Therapy, Kinesiotape-Certified RockDoc, Functional Rehabilitation Exercises, Nutritional Assessment. Prior to entering chiropractic college, Dr. Beau graduated from San Jose State (SJSU) in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In addition to his pre-medical studies, Dr. Beau was a full-scholarship athlete playing quarterback on the SJSU football team (Go Spartans!). While at SJSU, Dr. Beau met his wife, Shawna, in a physiology class. Her accolades as a national champion collegiate cheerleader led them both down the path to becoming highly-sought functional rehab specialists and personal trainers. In 2010, Dr. Beau and Shawna married and, soon after, welcomed their first of two children, Bryce (age 10) and Ashlyn (age 7).

Growing up as the son of Dr. Bill Pierce, Dr. Beau has been accustom to seeing and experiencing the wonders of chiropractic care. It wasn’t long into his collegiate career before Dr. Beau decided to become a chiropractor himself and help others live their lives in alignment. A former pro football player and triathlete, Dr. Beau started his chiropractic school quest at San Jose State while playing QB for the Spartans football team. After graduation, and a stint in the pro ranks, he decided to attend the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic West (considered the Harvard of chiropractic colleges). He excelled in school and has taken many post graduate level studies in sports care and rehabilitation. Coming back to Santa Maria, he started his practice alongside his growing family. He has two beautiful children with his wife Shawna, and looks forward to helping all active families across the central coast.
