Dr. Justin Toulouse studied kinesiology at San Diego State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in 2010. After college Dr. Toulouse worked as a certified personal trainer and eventually went on to become a certified strength and conditioning coach. It is during this time; he developed his passion for strength and conditioning and sports medicine. Dr. Toulouse then graduated from the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2019. While in the graduate program he enrolled into the sports medicine emphasis tract. This provided an opportunity to hone his skills as a sports medicine chiropractor. With the knowledge and experience gained from the fitness industry and the skills developed in sports medicine, Dr Toulouse takes an orthopedic approach with his patient examinations and treatment plans. Specific muscle work, chiropractic adjustments and active rehab are Dr. Toulouse's main three treatment modalities. Passive modalities like electrical muscle stimulation and heat/cold packs are utilized when the patient's symptoms are acute, or they are experiencing a flare-up. It is Dr. Toulouse's intent is to help people recover from their injuries/conditions, while motivating them to live a more positive and healthier lifestyle. Whether you are an athlete of any level or someone who is experiencing general pain, his goal is to provide quality care for every aspect of your health, fitness, and performance. While working to restore your body to full function, he will educate you about your injury and prevention of future re-injury. Dr. Toulouse lives in Long Beach with his wife (Lillian), two dogs (Tahoe & Rusty) and two tortoises (Machado & Cruz). For Dr. Toulouse spending time outdoors is a must, especially in the mountains. He is an avid snowboarder and surfer; he also enjoys mountain biking and hiking.

Dr. Misa Zaker earned his undergraduate degree at UCLA, then his doctor of chiropractic degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences. He specializes in comprehensive chiropractic care using a variety of techniques as well as manipulation under anesthesia. His goal is to provide chiropractic care to as wide a range of people as possible, all while changing the conception of chiropractic as a limited field consisting of only a few treatments. As Dr. Zaker says, “It is our responsibility to put patients in the best possible position to regain their health in the fastest possible way for the longest period.” He is joined in this quest by Jong H. Kim, who shares his vision for promoting optimal health for people of all ages through regular and dedicated chiropractic care. Dr. Kim is certified as a chiropractic extremity practitioner and a specialist in manipulation under anesthesia, like his counterpart Dr. Zaker.

A chiropractor not only helped him recover quickly but also educated him on the importance of proper spinal care. That experience sparked his passion for chiropractic. Dr. Sabrina Sanchez was inspired to become a chiropractor after witnessing her father’s recovery from a serious work accident (involving a fallen electrical pole). Chiropractic care played a crucial role in his healing process, allowing him to regain his active lifestyle. Seeing the impact firsthand, she dedicated herself to the field and now practices full-time, helping patients achieve better health.
