Dr. Richard Fontaine III, D.C. Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Fontaine is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic at the Florida campus and has been practicing since 2011. He is very passionate about the care he provides and constantly strives for improvement through continued education. He does his best to take the time necessary to explain your condition, plan of care, and to make you feel comfortable with the treatment. He is very familiar with many treatment techniques and therapies as well as adjusting styles (instrument guided with activator or arthrostim, manual hands-on, Thompson drop, Gonstead, and various soft tissue techniques). Dr. Fontaine is gentle enough for your newborn or even arthritic conditions and can be as aggressive as needed for elite-level athletes or anyone in between. Additional studies and certifications include a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner, Registered Trigenics Physician, and Graston technique and he is currently also working on multiple certifications for equine treatment and evaluation. In July of 2023, he made the tough decision to leave his established position with Ocala, FL in order to branch off on his own in the city of Williston, FL. Dr. Fontaine came across Dr. Henderson's office, which provided an amazing opportunity to continue providing chiropractic care for a community in dire need as Dr. Henderson announced his retirement. The premise behind Motion Wellness is that motion is the best form of medicine and the goal is to keep you moving. We will help to get you symptom-free as quickly as possible and to keep your body functioning optimally. The goal is not to force you to constantly come back, but to help you to realize you actually want to come back because you will now know when something is out of place or just "doesn't feel right".

A U.S. Navy veteran and lifelong learner, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Washington University, his Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University. While teaching at Life University, he trained under the renowned Dr. John D. Grostic, refining the complex and precise Grostic technique. Over the years, Dr. Peter has helped thousands of individuals regain function and find relief using a broad range of techniques, including Specific Upper Cervical, Applied Kinesiology, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Diversified, Thompson, and nutritional support. His depth of experience and gentle, grounded presence remain foundational to the practice Dr. Halle continues today.
