Dr. William Johnston was born and raised in Murray, Kentucky and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1999. Dr. Johnston’s original intention was to become a medical doctor. After shadowing a few MD’s and realizing the medical profession is driven by sickness care and not health care, he decided that wasn’t for him. He had never thought about chiropractic until a work injury led him to an orthopedic surgeon who prescribed opioids and possible surgery. Instead, he went to his first chiropractor and found almost immediate relief. After a lengthy discussion with the chiropractor and shadowing him for a few days, he knew he had found his calling. Dr. Johnston believes everyone needs regular chiropractic care. His gentle and specific approach to chiropractic adjustments is ideal for people of all ages. Dr. Johnston has adjusted people from 3 hours old to 90 years. In his free time, Dr. Johnston enjoys reading, camping and hiking.
