Dr. Ourganian began his medical academics at Colorado State University, with a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science. While attending CSU, he became a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and served as an athletic trainer for the men’s athletic teams as well as the women’s soccer team. Post-graduation from CSU, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, graduating with Honors. After practicing Chiropractic in Colorado for 2 years, Dr. Ourganian traded cold winters and mountain views for year-round Naples sunshine and palm trees. Growing up as the child of an Air Force pilot, I had the unique experience of living in 13 states and even overseas before settling in Louisiana during my high school and college years. There I discovered a passion for sports, especially track & field. I excelled in the 110-high hurdles, breaking many records across the southeast region and ultimately secured the national champion title in 2012. I accepted a full-ride scholarship to Louisiana State University to study Pre-med. There I trained daily with Olympians and I was determined to make it there myself. Exercise, nutrition, and health became my entire focus. Unfortunately, my racing career was continuously stunted by sports injuries. Spending so much time in the rehab center with physical therapists and athletic trainers sparked an interest in holistic care. At the same time, shadowing medical doctors left me discouraged at modern medicine, where care is more often dictated by insurance companies than the doctors. In discovering the field of chiropractic medicine, I found a fit for my desire to teach people how to achieve optimal wellness through natural & holistic means.
