At age 30, I decided to change careers, and become a chiropractor. It has been an amazing journey, working in offices where we treated sports injuries, tri-athletes, and children from as young as a few weeks old through age 98 on all manner of injury. I was born in Italy, and still speak Italian. I lived in Newhall from 1990 until February of 2019 when I moved to Fillmore, and then to Santa Clarita in 2021. When I’m not at the office you can find me spending time with my family, cycling, working on our garden and ponds, and just trying to enjoy the outdoors as much as we are able.I have worked in many offices throughout Southern California, and have seen many different practice styles, and techniques. What I am providing in this office is an accumulation of what I believe are the therapies that are most complete. This way, I am able to effectively treat headaches, migraines, neck and back pain, allowing you to live a full, and pain free life. Being entrusted with someone’s health is an incredible honor. Dr. Cappi is the only Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists and Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedics in the Santa Clarita Valley. Dr. Cappi is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College and was licensed in January of 1991. He started as an associate at the Northridge offices of BKP and by 1995, helped to expand BKP to the Santa Clarita Valley.

Dr Pinto, D.C. ACN, CVCP is a Los Angeles native with more than 50 years of experience in chiropractic care and holistic health. His journey into healthcare began with a two-year degree in dental technology, but in 1973 he discovered chiropractic and became immediately captivated by its philosophy and potential. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College, graduating on January 2, 1976. Throughout his career, Dr. Pinto has completed an exceptional amount of continuing education, allowing him to learn and integrate a wide range of techniques into his care. He earned a degree in Clinical Nutrition, studied biocranial technology under Dr. Boyd, and holds a Radiology Operator Supervisor license, reflecting his strong foundation in diagnostic imaging and patient safety. His clinical approach includes Total Body Modification Technique, Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), muscle testing, and the use of adjustment tools such as the Activator. He is also knowledgeable in the Graston Technique and its applications. Dr. Pinto is also certified in animal chiropractic and spent 10 years working PRCA rodeos. In 2003, he was honored as PRCA Rodeos Sierra Circuit South Doctor of the Year. Today, he devotes his practice to biocranial therapy, nutritional support, and providing attentive, individualized care to both people and their furry companions, including dogs and horses. After practicing in the San Fernando Valley for 35 years, Dr. Pinto relocated his practice to Santa Clarita and Acton, where he continues to serve his community with curiosity and dedication. He is known for his open-minded philosophy and often reminds patients, “If you think chiropractic can’t address something—ask anyway.” Outside of the office, Dr. Pinto is a devoted family man who has been actively involved in the healthcare of all seven of his grandchildren.
