I attended and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1984 and have been practicing in Hartland, WI ever since. I practice the Pierce System and Atlas Orthogonal, which are low force techniques. HELPING MY PATIENTS THROUGH EVERY STAGE OF LIFE The youngest patient I have treated is a newborn and the oldest patient is 103 years old. Patients find me for acute injuries, chronic injuries, headaches, numbness in extremities, shoulder pain, elbow/wrist pain, knee/ankle pain. I like working on them all. It truly is a privilege to help and change the lives of patients over the last 37 years. My patients are like my family. It’s great to see them live healthier lifestyles and get back to living without pain. The longer I’m in practice the better it gets! My mom is the one who gave me the confidence and momentum to become a chiropractor. As a child, I had tonsilitis constantly and was put on antibiotics. My mom’s thought was if I was on antibiotics on a regular basis my body would start to become naturally immune to them. She took me to a chiropractor and after a few chiropractic adjustments, my tonsilitis was gone. When I was a junior in high school, I had to start thinking about what career I might be interested in. My initial thought was that I wanted to become an environmental scientist. However, after hearing that 4 out of every 200 people find jobs in that field after graduation it inspired me to pursue another path. I was out for a motorcycle ride when I drove through Hartland and just fell in love with the beauty of it. There is no other place like the lake country area. From the lakes, the people and the restaurants – it is a great place to be! It’s been very near and dear to my heart which is why I have chosen to practice in this area for my entire career. What an honor it’s been to serve the area! My mom is really the one who provided such loving encouragement to set my sights in chiropractic after seeing how it worked in my own health as a child. If it were not for her, I may not have found this calling. It has provided such meaningful change in so many lives, including my own.

I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. While a student at Palmer, I was chosen to participate in the Clinic Abroad program. With this program I, and a group of 40 other chiropractors, and students, traveled to the Kingdom of Nepal. The things I experienced in Nepal were life changing. We gave chiropractic adjustments to thousands of children over the two and a half week period. It was simply amazing to see the changes we made in the lives of these kids as well as their parents and grandparents. As a father of four, I have a very strong commitment to care of the entire family. This has fueled my passion for advanced education in pediatrics which I have received, and continue to receive annually. The advanced education has furthered my commitment to our office mission that every child should be checked for nerve interference soon after birth, and every mother throughout pregnancy. Studies now show that the birth process, while natural, can itself cause pressure on nerves and have severe adverse health implications. Knowing that parents understand the benefits of chiropractic care for their children is what makes my career so rewarding. I am blessed to wake up each day and know I am helping parents raise healthier kids and that the parents are also giving more focus to their health and will be able to spend longer healthier lives with their children. In addition to family care I enjoy seeing the more difficult cases. I have experience in treating failed spinal surgery cases, scoliosis, disc herniation's, neuropathy, migraines and carpel tunnel. I have advanced training in clinical nutrition and have had excellent success with patients experiencing digestive problems, emotional issues, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, skin problems, autism, ADD and ADHD. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors, fishing or sailing. I also enjoy educating the public by giving healthy living workshops to groups and businesses. I also keep busy with chiropractic as I am a member of the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, International Chiropractic Association, Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association, and World Chiropractic Alliance.
