Dr. Ashley was born in Ohio and raised in North Carolina. She has been an athlete all her life including at the collegiate level. She experienced several injuries throughout her soccer career that led to many painful surgeries. As a result of not having the function or mobility she once did, she began exploring the idea of going to chiropractic school to help people in need of alternative options to get them through their struggles, and allow them to be able to live their lives on their own terms. She graduated with a Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic and holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Methodist University and an M.S. from East Carolina University. She has been trained through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is a Webster and perinatal certified chiropractor. In addition, she has trained through Epic Pediatrics and The Pediatric Experience where she obtained a certificate of Proficiency in Pediatric and Family Chiropractic. Dr. Mark A. Kosinsky, D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) Dr. Mark Kosinsky, known to most as just “Dr. Mark”, grew up in the small town of Roblin, Manitoba, Canada (pop. 1800). When asked what that was like, he will tell you that this was “Norman Rockwell meets the Arctic”. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia after earning his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Manitoba. He moved to Orlando, Florida in 2001 to begin his career as a Chiropractor. Over a decade later, he is still serving the community that gave him his start. His practice, Ashley Park Chiropractic, has become an Orlando fixture. Dr. Mark developed an intimate interest in becoming a Chiropractor from a personal experience at a young age. He watched how a simple, safe chiropractic adjustment transformed his Mother, who suffered with dizziness and migraines, into someone who had health, passion and happiness again. This experience left a lasting impression that inspired Dr. Mark to pursue a career in Chiropractic Medicine. He wanted to be the one helping others – lighting the way to good health and leading by example. Dr. Bastos received his Chiropractic Medicine Doctorate from Palmer University in Davenport, Iowa. He has been practicing for the past 19+ years helping people achieve a better quality of life. Dr. Bastos says that “treating and analyzing each patient individually, instead of a general approach, based on his symptoms and history, gives the patient a better chance of recovery and makes our practice a successful one.” Originally from Bahia, Brazil, Dr. Bastos moved to the United States in 1995. In 1996 he started his studies to graduate as a computer programmer and worked in that field for 8 years before switching to study medicine, focusing on the chiropractic specialty. He graduated with merit and since then he has helped thousands of patients to reach better health.
