I opened my own private practice in 1978, and have been running it as a family practice ever since. In addition to building my own practice and expertise, I have also shared my knowledge by working as an associated faculty member at Southern California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles Chiropractic College. I was inspired to learn more about the benefits of chiropractic and spinal decompression therapy after suffering a back injury from a mountaineering fall accident in 1973. The pain and restricted motion disabled me from living the adventurous lifestyle that I loved which included white water kayaking, canoeing, and sailing. However through my own chiropractic treatment, I was able to gain back the mobility I had lost, as well as greatly reduce the pain that kept me from my passions. At 62 years old, I am still able to perform all the activities I love, and I plan on living an active lifestyle for many years to come. My goal is to help patients achieve the success that I have by working on minimizing pain and gaining mobility in order to help them lead the lifestyle that they desire.
