During his 27th jump he suffered a back injury and was offered a honorable discharge/medical discharge from the military. His physical rehabilitation from injuries obtained in the military drove his passion to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.
